
The survey consist of two questions asked to the 1,496 respondents and this was conducted from dates April 17 to 26.
In the first survey question, respondents were asked who will they vote for in the 2010 presidential elections, without giving them any names. And the second question similar to the first, except that this time, the respondents were given a list of candidates to pick from.
The top 5 results were:
NUMBER ONE QUESTION:
Escudero with 13.17 percent;
Villar with 11.83 percent;
Sen. Loren Legarda place third with 8.29 percent;
the former President Joseph Estrada was in fourth place with 8.02 percent;
and Sen. Panfilo Lacson placed fifth with 7.55 percent.
NUMBER 2 QUESTION:
Escudero was still on top picked by 16.98 percent;
Villar with 14.64 percent;
Legarda with 12.10 percent;
Estrada with 9.63 percent;
and Vice-President Noli de Castro with 8.76 percent.
The IBON survey used a multi-stage probability sampling scheme and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.
